Riverfest has something for everyone. Stroll through the craft exhibits, take a tour, enjoy a leisurely cruise on the Rum and Mississippi rivers, take in the energy of live concerts, and enjoy some great summer
fare. Check back frequently during June & July for updates.

LIVE MUSIC ON TWO STAGES
Main Stage & River Stage. Free
concerts by local bands. Rock, folk, jazz, country.
PONTOON BOAT RIDES
10:00a.m. to 1:40 p.m.
Board at the docks behind Anoka City Hall.. Enjoy a free 10-15 min. leisurely cruise
on both the Mississippi and Rum Rivers. Volunteers provide their pontoons and time for this event, as well as life jackets for riders.
CRAFT EXHIBITS
The Anoka Riverfest & Craft Fair is one of the largest craft fairs in the Twin Cities area. Over 140 booths will be in place in the Jackson Street area (located one block north of Main St.) All items are 100% handcrafted by the person in the booth to the best our knowledge.
ANOKA COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Anoka County Historical Society will offer free admission to the Anoka County History Center from 10-4. In conjunction with its new exhibit Pieced and Patched, which features over 3 dozen hand-quilted pieces from the ACHS collections, two free programs on the history of quilts will be offered in the History Center’s Philolectian Room at 11:00am and 12:00pm.
The Historical Society and the Anoka Heritage Preservation Commission will also be selling tickets to the July 10 Anoka Heritage Home and Garden Tour at the intersection of Second Avenue and Jackson Street.
NOWTHEN THRESHERS EXHIBIT
Stop by the Nowthen Threshing Show display on 2nd Avenue by the public parking ramp and enjoy the sights and sounds of tractors and steam engines. Share your stories with the folks from the threshing show and hear stories about their pieces of pride and joy. For more info, visit www.nowthenthreshing.com
LOTS OF FOOD
Enjoy a HUGE variety of food at the Riverfest Food Court located in the parking lot between Wells Fargo and Billy’s Bar & Grill on Jackson Street.
